Why Pécs?

Because it’s the kind of city where creativity just flows naturally.

Imagine studying on a campus that started out as a world-famous porcelain factory a century ago. The Faculty of Arts is built right into the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter - and honestly, you can still feel that raw, creative energy in the walls. Today, those old industrial halls are packed with studios, non-stop rehearsals, pop-up exhibitions, music, and wild experiments. Porcelain manufacturing today is concentrated in a small part of the area where once the factory founder Zsolnay’s dream came true, passing most of it over to be filled with arts and culture.

Pécs is an incredibly liveable, walk-everywhere city. Cafés, galleries, gigs, parks, and studios are all just a few minutes apart. You can grab a flat white between classes, stumble into an exhibition on a random Tuesday, and always feel part of a tight-knit, inspiring community.

Faculty students can visit exhibitions at the Modern Hungarian Gallery for free

It’s the perfect mix of vibrant student life and the freedom to find your own artistic voice - all in one of Europe’s most affordable and culturally alive student spots.

Why Pécs? Because it’s the kind of city where creativity just flows naturally.
