The opening of the 4th Budapest Illustration Festival took place on Friday, December 12, 2026 The exhibition held every other year in a biennale format presents the core selection of the nationwide exhibition and competition, featuring 4 different categories of artworks: adult literary, children’s and young adult, non-fiction and silent book illustration. The exhibition welcomes visitors until January 16, 2026 at Pesti Vigadó (1051 Budapest, 2 Vigadó Square).

Congratulation to the award winners of this year: Lotte Budai, Fruzsina Schnell, Vivien Csefó, Jacquline Molnár and Edit Szalma. In addition, we highly recommend to our visitors that they take a look at the graphic works of our doctoral student, Miklós Soltis, made for art historian Dr. Endre Raffay's children's book, “Drama at the Academy of Music”.
