MK30: Autumn Events in Budapest and Beyond
This autumn, the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pécs will celebrate its anniversary with a diverse programme of exhibitions, concerts and accompanying events. Events will take place at prestigious venues in Budapest - including the House of Music Hungary, Pesti Vigadó, HAB, FUGA, Eötvös10 and Bakáts Bunker - as well as at international locations in Salzburg and Cluj-Napoca

The exhibition presents a selection of contemporary works from the Faculty’s Graduate Archive and the collection of its Doctoral School. The collection reflects the Faculty’s role in higher art education and its contribution to the cultural life of Pécs and the wider region.

The Pécs School: Thirthy Years of the Faculty of Arts
HAB- Hungarian Art and Business

Featuring works by more than thirty artists, The Pécs School explores the visual and intellectual affinities connecting several generations of artists associated with Pécs and the Faculty of Arts. A series of accompanying exhibitions across Budapest presents this artistic phenomenon as an open and continually evolving dialogue.

30th Anniversary Concerts by Faculty of Arts, University of Pécs
House of Music Hungary

Four concerts will feature student ensembles, chamber groups and artist-teachers from the Institute of Music, including the PTE Vilmos Zsolnay Wind Orchestra, the Pécs Saxophone Ensemble, the University of Pécs Symphony Orchestra and the PTE University Choir. The programme showcases the diversity and high artistic standards of the Institute’s musical activities.

Beneath the Clouds, Above the Clouds (works by Painting, Sculpture, Intermedia Arts, and Art Therapy students of the Faculty of Arts)

Beneath the Clouds, Above the Clouds presents works by students of Painting, Sculpture, Intermedia Art and Art Therapy exploring fragility, loss, healing and renewal. The exhibition will be opened by curator and aesthete Luca Cserhalmi.

Dialogue: Exhibition of the Faculty of the Institute of Design and Media Arts, University of Pécs
Opening: 9 October 2026, 6.00 pm
FUGA Architecture Centre, Main Hall

Dialogue, conceived together with Conclusion, brings works by Márta Nagy and Imre Schrammel into dialogue with works by members of the teaching staff of the Institute of Design and Media Arts. The exhibition explores material, form, technology and contemporary visual culture.
